Drying Beans

How do you dry your beans? I usually let them dry on the vine in the garden, but I've got a ton this year and we've been having lots of rain too.

I didn't think about using my dehydrator. Good site too, lots of information.

On the vine. Sometimes the pod will get a lot of mildew, but that doesn't mean the beans inside will be mildewed. If it's looking bad, though, I guess I'd pick them, and leave them in the pods out of the weather to dry.

I would not use a dehydrator. I think they need to dry more slowly than that. Any that you want to save for seed certainly should not go into a dehydrator.
